Dear Flex Users Group Members, I have some Christmas money to invest in my first SDR radio. I am very interested in the hobby aspects of SDR, but I must admit that there is a certain appeal to "old school" knobs.
Therefore, the Elecraft KX3 has a certain appeal, but being a newbie, I am not clear if the Flex 1500 or 3000 offer SDR performance advantages that are more important considerations. I do understand both systems use the same SDR software from Flex Radio. What advice do you have for me on the most important factors that I should consider in purchasing my first SDR radio?
