Hi Everyone, I am fortunate that a friend had let me borrow a 1500 to see if I want to go the SDR route. I've been following this thread. In my limited experience, I've noticed that the NR is useable in SSB with 2.7 to 1.8 kHz filter bandwidths, but for CW, using narrower filter bandwidths, 750Hz and especially narrower, I have noticed NR not to be helpful. Even though I get benefit of reduced bandwidth, I did expect NR to provide some additional assistance. I've adjusted AGC-T and tried various tap settings, with no change noticed. My main interest is in CW, so this an important consideration for me. Any suggestions or comments?
