Eric,

Same thing happened to me.

New dedicated computer.

W7 operated perfect for 2 years, then all of a sudden unhandled exceptions.

I spent hundreds of hours trying to fix it.

No useful help from Flex.

Forget all the urban myths about faulty fire wire cables, bad RAM, virus
scanners and the like.

If a restore doesn’t cure the problem, just bit the bullet and reload the
operating system.

Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

Hi All,

Last week, I was fighting unhandled exceptions. Now I'm back at it, but the
unhandled exceptions have gone.

I went back to my oldest restore point (30 days or so), removed everything
Flex that I could find and reinstalled 2.7.2

Now PSDR will run for a while and I get the Windows message that PowerSDR
has stopped working and Windows is checking for a solution.

No solution is found, of course and PSDR shuts down.

I have run SFC and there are no errors there.

Anyone have a hint about what to try next? I've been using this computer,
radio and firewire for over 2 years and haven't changed anything. It has
just quit.

Thanks.

Best regards from Eastern Maine, Eric (W1EL)
