Ok, now I'm really confused. "Story"
After installing Windows 10. I started checking to make sure everything was still working. I use a start up program to setup all the programs and modes necessary to run PowerSDR. I've been doing it the same way for the last 4 years (using Win 7). When I started it under Win 10, it started telling me that the com ports were not available. So I started checking. First I opened up vspMgr and it reported that all the com ports were setup just the way the always have been. So I closed that program and opened up "Device Manager". It reported under "Ports" that com ports 1-5 and LPT3 were active. But none of the other com ports were listed. However under "Other devices", "Bulk-In, Interface" and all Com ports 1-15 were listed with the yellow sign, which when checked they were not installed.

So after reading "Allen Shuff" reply I decided to try that. I deleted vspMgr and reset the system. Then I checked "Device manager" again, now all my comports are back the way they were originally! And vspMgr is not loaded as an active program?

My start up program that I use is not operating normally...... so I don't really know what is going on, but it's back working again.....

Under "Other devices", "Bulk-In, Interface" still has an error note on it.....Don

If what I outlined is the problem, I just went thru this with Steve a
couple of weeks ago, he definitely is recommending that people avoid the
usage of Startup folders for programs requiring VSPMgr comm ports.

Hi Don,
I did not notice until you mentioned it, since my ports were all okay. I
did try to open VSP Manager after
seeing your message and i observed the sane thing.

When I tried to go to the location where VSP Manager was installed, I
noticed it was under a temp folder
After uninstalling the VSP manager using add remove programs, i made a
volder VSP Manager under C:\ and moved the setup.exe folder there.
I then executed the setup.exe folder and all is well now.
