If you want to default to a) read-only to authenticated users and b) every topic writable by Administrators, then if you put in [1] and [2], you should be good to go. Without [2], there's no statement about anyone but Administrators, and in the absence of any statement, permission is denied. Which would make the wiki sort of useless to your other users. :)
In other words, yes, use [1] and [2] in flexwiki.config, and you should be all set. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:flexwiki- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Helen Ersando > Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2007 3:54 PM > To: FlexWiki Users Mailing List > Subject: Re: [Flexwiki-users] Admin Page Feature Request > > hi craig, > > the information about the hierarchy of rules helped a lot... > > so if im gonna put this line [1] in the flexwiki.config file, then this > would achieve the goal without changing anything upon the creation of > new namespace stage? then this would imply that all created namespaces > will be read-only by default to all users except Administrators?
