Hi,
I've created a first stab at an aircraft selection dialog.
It sort of works at the moment, but at least the sound part needs some more attention.
If you want to contribute by improving it, the main part is located in FlightGear/src/Aircraft/aircraft.cxx in the fgLoadAircraft subroutine.
