The magnetos are now defaulted to position 2 (Left) instead of 0 (Off). Was that intentional? Is there anything else in global preferences not mentioned in the log?
I think the magnetos have been in position 2 for a while. This leaves the plane running at startup, which will make live a bit easier for first time FLightGear users.
I am not sure I understand the second question.
