I've used the GeForce card I have (which has twin-view and TV-out) in both capacities and it works well. I could theoretically capture video on the fly, but then it would have to be imported tot he computer again to convert to a .avi or whatever. I have access to equipment to do that, too, but little time.
I have been thinking of making a demo video for some time now, though.
