When I stop FG very quickly after starting it, I have often 
segfaults in the loader thread. I think it is because the 
tiles are still loading while globals is being deleted.

I would like to ask the thread to stop and wait its effective
terminaison before deleting globals. How can we stop this 
thread ? Is calling SGThread::cancel() followed by 
SGThread::join() the right way ?
