Thanks for all the help with the fuel issue. I am curios if there is a way to check if the plane has been fully initialized. It seems to me that fgMainLoop starts executing about 6 seconds before the plane is fully initialized. I would like to call my update functions only after the initialization is fully complete.
You could check against the "/sim/sceneryloaded" property. It becomes true when initialization is finished.
