I compile and use 6629 with Linux 2.6.11.7 without problems. You only need to patch the driver source with an official nvidia patch: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46676 Later nvidia drivers (7???) were unstable and completely useless for me. m.
