I don't want to seem ungrateful. I tried Georg's suggestion of AVSIM and it
worked(so far).
I was hoping for personall FTP site as also write various apps for other
interest groups (amateur radio VB developers etc.). My main objective for
this weekend was to sort out a site for my "project of the moment" though, a
single sector Flight Planner (for win32 at this stage).
I have uploaded a "trial app" a simple DMS<->Decimal Degrees convertor...
small, simple and low impact on system resources.... to test the system. The
FTP site has proven to be the hardest of this weekends goals, the personal
website (http://www.denemaxwell.blogspot.com/) was relatively easy.
