If opinions seem inexpensive then maybe it's a sign that folks can only
hope
to contribute in some to what is a truly impressive production.
I wonder if the 'signs' addon could be included, it's very reassuring
for a beginner.
If the signs also included VOR/ADF ID's and frequencies then learning to
operate
the nav instruments could become intuitive.
I hesitate to mention that my machine goes into fibrillation very
easily if I
try to run Atlas concurrent with fgfs, no doubt because I try to include
half
a continent on the map.
Adding anything to a grub menu is hazardous to say the least, perhaps
menu's
should stay in user space.
I use fluxbox exclusively, was taught to use words instead of pointing.
Fluxbox
allows for easy and extensive menu and keyboard customization.
As regards locations, I'm sure it's not alone in having all the
thrills of
intersecting runway traffic, but KBOS is set up with an ADF five or so
miles out
from the end of each runways centre line which is a great help in learning
proper technique. Simple AI traffic in 20 degree banks at low alititude
and the Nimitz in the hahbah makes this place the most fun sine I sold
my Hornby Dublo !
Much appreciation to all.
