That is of course a possibility, however, I was just taking this as an example that there are currently differences between HEAD and PLIB. Although this is currently the only real difference, there might be more, the longer we have two branches of the code. > > Durk Talsma schrieb am 07.12.2006 19:04: > > Not true: As extensively discussed on the mailing list (and agreed upon > > by most developers prior to the switch), the main development effort > > should focus on an OSG based flightgear in CVS HEAD, after branching off > > a stable version intended for bugfixes and a possible release. > > Oh, did I miss something? I was overstressing my point a bit here, but the backport process would certainly depend on a) progress on the OSG version, b) chances of having a release soon, and c) each individual developer's opportunity to do so. I will certainly try to get the remaining bug fixes into cvs PLIB, but everthing related to the data reorganization of the AI stuff is something that will be something that will have a relatively long term impact (when more data / traffic stuff becomes available, so there's no real reason to have that in CVS PLIB, as that version will hopefully be obsolete by the time the new AI directory structure is utilized to it's max.
