Okay, Done. Just a quick comment: I believe this patch was based on FlightGear PLIB, and I've committed it to FlightGear cvs HEAD only. I know we've talked about OSG vs. PLIB maintainance a lot, and the intention is to backport BUG fixes to FlightGear plib. I've been under the gun for an important research grant application until last week, so I didn't have a single chance to even think about installing a separate PLIB branch on my local machine, let alone work on back porting new features. FWIW, I don't expect this situation will change in the short run: I'll be heading out to Canada again on the 28th of January for another two month visit, during which time my FlightGear contributions will probably be very limited. If anybody finds stuff worth back porting please go ahead and do so. I wish I could do it myself, but my time is just too limited at the moment.
