thank you very much for your hint - now successfully downloading Tokyo
area :-)
I will get ftp.flightgear.org back up and running when I return to my office
on Monday. There is a transient hardware problem on the motherboard I
believe that drops the machine in it's tracks every couple days. :-( I just
haven't had a chance to start swapping hardware with this machine ...
