This is also a feature I'd like to see included in FlightGear. Unless somebody beats me, I'd like to try and commit this to CVS this weekend. FWIW, one might have noticed I haven't been very active for FlightGear lately. I'm teaching part of this semester, and have a few other important things going on right now. I estimate I have a bit more time in a few weeks from now.
