The settimer(INIT, 0) is old and predates listeners. I remember that I later set it to 1 second to fix something. (I hope the cvs log will tell me more.) The INIT function should now be done by a listener, which makes sure that it's called early, even before settimer(..., 0) kicks in. And glide_slope_tunnel.nas should either not call the popup initially at all or do it at a time where it's safe.
