Eric I have investigated when this bug started on my Vista laptop.
CVS of Simgear +Flightgear from 4 October runs on the Vista Machine )but without sound - I probably need to CVS the data as well. CVS from 6 October fails in Sample_openal.hxx as per my note at he start of this thread. It is narrowing down.
