That's why I used the word 'evil' in a previous message - and why I didn't do 
this originally. Effectively, the new code will chop 'Aircraft' off the front 
of the path automatically, try the path(s) in each of the --fg-aircraft dirs, 
and if the file isn't found, we'll try the original path (including 
'Aircraft/') against the fg-root.

I've been turning the idea around in my head for most of today, and I can't 
really see a problem with it, though I'm still open to persuasion by a really 
convincing argument.
