Well, there are parts of the 3d model that I have found myself on a public ftp server without a license. There are many parts that I have just done myself. But it *still* contains some parts with unknown origins. For all that stuff I have done, I can put that under a flightgear compatible OSS license. But for some parts I just cannot because of the unknown origins. This is the reason why this model has never made it into any official repository. I can provide you with the original found model. With the original one and the current one you can easily decide which parts are ok and which not. And yes, it would be nice if this beginnings of this model could be brought into a state that can be put upstream.
