Yes :) (Well, one possibility of many) Something that will happen after 2.2.0 is a minimal data package that contains *no* Aircraft (or possibly the C172) and the generic instruments(-3d). Then the launchers will need to take a greater part in managing aircraft - I have some code written for that (like fgadmin, but for aircraft downloads and install), but it's only a rough prototype, nothing that works yet.
