..I also tried specifying and disabling sound, but lost those 
outputs in the X crashes.  It wants Jack, and _not_ PulseAudio.

..and ./run_fgfs_debug.sh cannot find 
/home/arnt/FG-git/fgfs/source/src and should probably look in
/home/arnt/FG-git/fgfs/flightgear/src/ instead, how do I make 
it look there?

..I tried to put log support into the 2 run_fgf* scripts, attached:
