I am a casual user of Flightgear that flies usually in the same airports,
namely KDCA and KIAD.
The first airport is just a mile from the White House, and is in the
surroundings of this airport that I found the major discrepancies between what
I know I should be seening (and where) and what I actually see through the
cockpit.
At the north of the airport, there are some buildings that appear as being on
top of the water (the Potomac river) in this example, and this doesnt create a
well defined scenery. I have been reading a lot on the wiki and several links
from there, but I havent yet found a guide on how to correct these situations,
or even to determine what is actually wrong with the picture: Are the buildings
misplaced or is the Landsat not updated?
I have the will and some free time in my hands to correct this, but I don't
know how to do this. Maybe someone in the forum can point me out into the right
direction.
Thanks!
IB
