Are you sure? Other SDL apps seem to return to the original desktop resolution just fine.
Ok. Let me put it this way, this was a know limitation of FlightGear's SDL code at the time it was implemented, and I'm not aware of any changes since then.
Ok, a limit of FG's window interface, but not a limit of SDL, right?
