I think he means that if FlightGear was easier to get started, then more "noobs" would be able to, and consequently more "noobs" would complain about "always pulling to the left". If I'm right, then I think he is generalizing a bit: It looks like if a person is a "noob", then he/she doesn't know what a command line is _and_ he/she doesn't know how an aircraft is supposed to behave, and in addition he/she is probably ignorant to a lot of other things. One might say that he/she is ""noob" all over". On the other hand we have persons that do know what a command line is.
