If you start FlightGear using fgrun, just click on the appropriate choices. It's all done for you. Otherwise, edit system.fgfsrc to look like this: --airport-id=1o2 (or whatever) --runway= 23R (or whatever) > I noticed today if I reloaded all the items under the > debug menu it looked like I had a semi-realistic look > at Clearlake and some structures on the ground. > Problem was the Dos window was showing it could not > find the stuff for engine controls etc. The C-172 was > all over the place and it was uncontrolable. Some pretty clever people (some of whom fly or have flown the aircraft) have made the performance and handling characteristics as accurate as possible. > I would really like to know how to launch the program > and not have to go through 37 steps before I got > flying where I want to. The Windows 0.9.8a binary works right out of the box. Unless you want to: a. Make life difficult for yourself. b. Become a flightgear developer, and make life difficult for yourself. Just use it V. _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-users 2f585eeea02e2c79d7b1d8c4963bae2d
