Hi everybody,

Whem I execute fgfs in my computer, I get the following error:

fgfs: freeglut_window.c:300: fgOpenWindow: Assertion
`window->Window.VisualInfo != ((void *)0)' failed.
Aborted

The OS is a Debian Linux 3.1 alias Sarge. The kernel version is 2.4.27
(I compiled this kernel), and my graphic card is a nVidia RIVA TNT2 with
32 MB.

I've used the version 7174 of nvidia drivers, and I read in this list
that with this
drivers don't works fgfs fine. Then I try with 6629 and 6111 drivers.
Unfortunatelly with 6629 version the X server don't work  :(  , but
with 6111 X server work fine, but fgfs has the same error.

For this reason I ask if somebody has solved this error with another
version
of drivers, with some special option in fgfs, ........

The version of fgfs is 0.9.6 (the debian package of Sarge.)

My computer is a AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz with 1.25Gb of RAM,

The lspci command shows:
