Looks like SimGear version skew to me. SimGear and FlightGear are developed in parallel, and their versions must match. If you want to compile FlightGear from (for example) CVS, then you must have a simultaneous CVS snapshot of SimGear. Presumably, the debian SimGear package is matched to the debian FlightGear package, which is not the same version you are building.
