The above message can be viewed as a squawk list entry, so, as long as you've also glued an "INOP" sticker on your display onto the autopilot box picture, and don't attempt to use the autopilot again until it is fixed, you're doing nothing wrong :-))) I haven't used the autopilot in the Cessna for a long time, will try tonight and see if it happens on my Linux with the last night's CVS.
