Hello Sid:

Atlas has been downloaded and the requisite panels selected and used for some time now. I also use FGTools. Yes, you get what you have said and I see, but the point that must be raised is at the time you are in the toolbar on FG itself and select the Airfield/Airport identification to obtain frequencies etc. Or, when you select the airport before the run mode. The frequencies and the ADF are incorrect for the majority of locations and look as if they are set to a default like San Francisco etc.

It is why I ask for listings, so that I can choose the frequencies. When flying long distances, it should not be necessary to look at a bad resolution of Atlas Map for the desired frequencies, especially when they are incorrect! Instead, listing is a better choice for selection. I don’t know how the Atlas Map is composed or who set up the frequencies therein, but there are more errors than correct ones. As an open question to followers of this Forum, check where you are flying to and use an aircraft that has full ILS facilities. I am a jet person and in real life, not virtual, have had the opportunity to fly the world in a professional capacity, but now retired.

Hope that someone can answer this, like the aircraft carrier question for Windows XP.

Thanks

Martin
