As mentioned, I have not re-downloaded Debian again.

Been through the apt-cache routine but nothing was there.

I think that now we must concentrate on getting the "good" boot sequence
working and then what has to be downloaded like Debian, FG etc. Some thought
should be given as to how all this can be saved. On the knoppix desktop I
have the sda1 and sda2. As mentioned there was a warning from Knoppix when I
wanted to save it on sda2: the path is /dev/sda2 SCSI HD Partition [NTFS]
(183632MB).

..forgot to answer this wee bit:  "Wrong names" shouldn't get installed.
Do "apt-cache search fgfs", then "apt-cache show fgfs-base" or
whatever else you wanna look at.
Another way is "apt-cache --full search fgfs |less".  ;o)
