I downloaded and compiled 0.9.9-pre3, and my weather scenarios now work corectly (nice!), but I still don't see any shadows. If I change them in the 'view -> rendering options' menu, or if I change the settings in the preferences.xml file makes no difference...still no shadows are cast for me to see.
