..to have somebody else take over developing it.  Quit whining, 
go ahead 'n fix it.

..see above link, Microsoft has a commercial interest in putting an end
to OpenGL, GNU/Linux, and FlightGear, "we threaten MS & MSFS!!!".
Methods used include lobbying to get open source banned, litigation 
thru proxies, and "bug fixes" thru their "os" updating service, which
makes Microsoft Wisdows a moving target and next to impossible for
FlightGear to support Wintendo users.  
Try open your very first MSWord document on your current machine.   
Them throw blame flames.
