Where is the GUI for writing command line options in Windows FG?
Thank you
Martin
Hi Martin,
you are a *real* FlightGear fan, trying to learn and *not* give up!
That's great, I like it. And therefore I offer you to ad a 4th page to
the FGTools program like the Cygwin page
http://home.arcor.de/vollnhals-bremen/Martin/SnShFGT12.jpg
from where you can use all those FlightGear commands fgrun does not
actually support as an intermediate solution.
I created the FGTools Cygwin page for my personal use as I like to run
the Cygwin FlightGear CVS version very comforable directly from Win32
and with a GUI.
And for the future I renew my offer to you (and other) user which don't
want to compile the CVS themselves to get compiled versions from my
webside in regular time intervalls. The only thing you have to do is to
download and install basic Cygwin and learn some very simple commands to
download/update the DATA folder from CVS. With download, copy and paste
my binaries under Windows (!) into Cygwin and run the whole stuff with
FGTools Cygwin page (from Windows without having started Cygwin, you can
forget Cygwin!) you are always up to date.
The only negative thing is that I have an decrease in framerates under
Cygwin. But with a modern PC this doesn't matter without aircraft
shadows (I though can fly with all these features switched on :- ).
Ok, I hope I can do this work this *late* EUROPEAN evening and I will
post here.
Please tell me if you are interested as nearly all my other offers had
*zero* reaction.
Regards
Georg
