Sure how do you get the MD5SUM? Never had to do that. :)
Type md5sum /usr/bin/fgrun
Which package did you install? The first release
(FlightGear-0.9.9-i686-1.tgz) or the second (FlightGear-0.9.9-i686-2.tgz)?
