Hi Martin,
I just came back from work and did some quick tests on the new window for FlightGearTools.
It is called "windows" and the last one.
As you already worked with FGTools this should be very familiar for you.
1. On the main page (you should see first) check "default start page" -> "windows"
2. Select the "windows" page
3. Get the basefolder of FG (which version you might want to use is up to you /0.9.8 or 0.9.9)
4. Click on build list under Aircraft
When finished select the aircraft you want to use
This aircraft list will be remembered by the program.
If you add a new aircraft or delete one, build a new list
You have to check "aircraft" if you want to use one of these aircrafts
5.If you want to start from an airport, check "airport (icao)" and type icao code and if you want the airport-name, divided by a whitespace. I.e. EDDW Bremen or EDDM München or KSFO San Fr.. or.. These airport names are remembered. The next step will be a reading from the FG data, not yet implemented
If you want to start from the carrier, don't check "airport"
6.Check special Param if you want to add other FG parameter
Always remember that you divide several parameters by a whitespace.
(--xxxx=yyyy --aaaa=bbbb --cccc=dddd)
You may add as many parameter as you want.
7.You might edit the predefined parameter you see right to "run FlightGear (w32)" or delete or add parameter in this line 8. If you want to see which parameter FGTools send to FlightGear and in which format you might check "info" at the right bottom. Then you'll get a message before FG is started. This is important if anything runs wrong. You could see you misspellings :-) 9. When you are ready, click "Run FlightGear (W32)". As the box "Close FGTools when executing .." is checked by default, FGTools will close without any further action. 10. The parameter you type in are remembered by the program when you start it the next time. Click the arrows at the right side of the boxes to see what you have already.

You may download this special version from my homepage

http://home.arcor.de/vollnhals-bremen/Martin/FGT13.zip

It will be improved within the next week as we (you and I) do want to run Atlas and Map from this new page. But it may help you *now* to start FlightGear with commands you otherwise had to type in at the windows command line :-( Give feedback if anything does not work *and* also if it works (might be off list).
Regards
Georg
