I could not reproduce the sim freeze you depict but the story of my
trials is interesting:
- PC freshly started under Windows Me. No other software started. No
toolbar gadgets present.
- First trial in 640x480 resolution. High FPS at first, then very
frequent and severe short freezes. Really annoying yet plane keeps
controlable.
- 1280x1024 : 3 FPS from start on. I close the window.
- 800x600 : perfectly smooth flight, very constant FPS.
- 1280x1024 : fgrun crashes during start.
- 1280x1024 : fgrun crashes during start.
