As you've no doubt discovered, it's no coincidence - any animations that are applied to your plane will be applied to others in MP (on your screen only). On the other hand, I would be concerned if you were actually "dragging" the other plane around - much more likely that someone just took off at the same time as you, intentionally or otherwise. If the other plane was really "glued" to yours and followed you _precisely_ wherever you flew and taxied, then it's a bug.
