Hello, Chris,

Thanks for the answer,

and the explanation, with METAR, i am familar with it,

Glad to hear you where taking off from LFMO (without scenery , if you
want you could download it, the landscape on the airport East side is
wonderful) which is a military airport.

Yes I will, as I hope to cover *most* of the globe in time...

The error (which is now 4 months old) about FG has not been solved (the
bug relationship between menu error and the missing 3Dclouds is close
to)
I guess we will continue longer with it probably not solved.
For my personnal use, I am making some patchs which will activate METAR
permanently with 3DClouds.  :=)

Excellent. The 'clouds will not reappear' problem has happened to me a
few times, but only if I change the scenarios, or clouds, often.

NB:The beach close to YBBN seems to be wonderful, is it ?

The area near the airport shown as 'sand' is actually mud. It is a tidal
flat, edged with Mangrove swamps, and although I *could* swim there it
is a matter of whether I *would* swim there or not... :-)

Some of the nicest beaches anywhere are 1-2 hours north or south of the
Brisbane area. Try YBMC (Marcoola) to see the Sunshine Coast, or YBCG
(Coolangatta/Gold Coast) to see the Gold Coast. The default scenery for
those areas looks little like the real thing, and the beaches do not
show

Kind regards,

Chris Wilkinson, Brisbane, Australia.
