.myself, I also filter off the "Subject: " and then do a
body search, to cut up digests into its original messages.
Here, I use a 128 kB message id cache, or more.

.then, I plan to strip off html and other code, leaving the
plain text and returning the original message to the sender
automagically, advicing him and his sysadmins, they should
implement email security and stop spreading vira. ;-)

.the FG lists are okay, only a wee bit of flawed quoting,
and that to may be possible to fix with procmail.

.after that, digest (de)compression might be useful.

.the tricky part in my .fetchmailrc and .procmailrc setup,
is the syntax etc checks is too tolerant, as these do not
catch all my errors yet, so its trial and error.

.the reason I do this, is all the garbage we get in the
Gasification list @
http://www.crest.org/discussion/gasification/current/

.at this stage however, I am more interested in getting help
getting "airborne", so I subtly asked for help in message
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with subject
"./runfgfs -> Cannot locate FG root directory (data)",
in the FG-users mail lists.

.the fact I have design policy ideas, does not stop me
from having FG newbie problems. ;-)

.med vennlig hilsen = with Kind Regards from Arnt... ;-)

Scenarios always come in sets of three:
best case, worst case, and just in case.
