Well, FYI I upgraded XFree86 to 4.1.0 (from rawhide) 'cause the banshee
will not work at all with the stock XFree86 from RH7.1
I'll play with it some more and let you guys know if I come up with
anything.
Oh - and as for the second part of my post about Win32 hangs / freezes
with a banshee, I solved the problem by going to unofficial drivers
(3DFX on exhibit at Jurassic Park)
