I used a Matrox G400 32 meg AGP card for a while on
my Win2K machine and got 'reasonable' frame rates.
Much better then what you are seeing.ie 20-30 fps at 1024x768.
I also could display on two monitors which was cool.
My guess is that you aren't getting any hardware acceleration
What kind of framerate does the Mesa Gears program run at ?
