Hi
I have tried for days to get FlightGear-0.9.9 to compile and run on
Suse10.00 retail.

I am sure I have followed rules for compile and install - last night got
this after Splash Screen shows OK
Running AMD 3200+ 64bit GeForce 6600 GTNVidia Driver 3D Activated 1GB
Memory SATA 300Gb HDD

This is cut and paste from command and subsequent ERROR response

linux:/usr/local/bin # ./fgfs
opening file: /usr/local/share/FlightGear/data/Navaids/carrier_nav.dat
/usr/local/share/FlightGear/data/Navaids/TACAN_freq.dat
Initialising callsign using 'Aircraft/c172p/Models/c172p.xml'
freeglut (./fgfs): Failed to create cursor
freeglut ERROR: Function <glutSetCursor> called without first calling
'glutInit'.

Hi Mike,

Freeglut-2.4.0 has a critical bug in it. You will need to either downgrade to freeglut-2.2.0 or upgrade to freeglut-cvs. There is a brief note about this at:
