Hi Mate, I have two PC's, one I use for FGSD, Taxidraw, email & VB, the other's my partners, limited use, not allowed to install (noticable) extra software. How do I configure Map and Atlas to run on my FDSG PC without my working copy of FG resident?

I do have abogus copy to keep FGSD happy.

Cheers

Nice. I'd hope pilots intending to use that *would* ensure
the plans are concrete via other avenues as well. Its a wee
shame they couldn't use a better looking map system, like
Atlas, which I run next to Flightgear (so I've a moving
map display to show me where I'm flying). I use a 1920x1440
desktop, of which fgfs uses 1200x1440; Atlas uses the rest.

I also rendered my Atlas map tiles at 1024x1024 pixels with
4x AA and smooth shading. The end result of that was very
nice looking, but I will render a high-res set at 2048 square
just to give the Athlon64 a little work... :-)

Here is a screenie for Dene, of Atlas showing Marlborough and
Wellywood...
