\Data\Aircraft
Extract using embedded paths to above directory

might pay to check the embedded folders in the archive before extracting to make sure nothing is going to get dumped in the \Data\Aircraft directory. If it looks like it is create a directory for the particular aircraft eg;
\Data\Aircraft\Boeing737-800

and extract to that directory

Hi Peter,
Once you've downloaded the scenery file;
- Create a directory in the FG \data directory
- Open the archive (*.gz file)
- Extract to the \Data\Scenery make sure you use the embedded folder structure or you'll end up with everything in the \Data\Scenery directory

and finally the most important step!!
Load up FG and enjoy
