Dear FlightGear developers and users, With a new release of FlightGear in the works, the rapid developments in AI traffic, and multiplayer features we have seen over the last few months, I have set up a website to host AI aircraft/repaints, and other goodies for flightgear use. You can find the site at: http://www.xs4all.nl/~dtalsma/flightgear.html It is also linked from the main flightgear website.
The site is still in it's extreme infancy, and there are still many loose ends, but I'll have to take a two month break from flightgear development, as I'm about to leave the country for a trip to San Francisco and Canada. So I'd like to announce the site now. I would like to thank everybody who has contributed to the site, and would especially like to mention Innis Cunningham, who has done an amazing job in repainting aircraft, converting models to AC3D format, and bugging me to get things done right. :-) Cheers Mate. Uncredited aircraft repaints were actually done by me. Those that I didn't take credit for were mostly early learning attempts and used for developing the current AI infrastructure in FlightGear. Feel free to have a look at the site. If you wish to make a contribution to flightgear, also feel free to do so by repainting your favorite aircraft into your favorite livery. I can't tell yet how well I can maintain this website while I'm away, but I'd be happy to include any repaint you may have. If you wish to contribute, preferably email me your repaints, and I'm happy to include them in the website at my earliest convenience.
