I don't remember the details, but I found it once. I googled for the lon/lat of Mt. Everest and just started with the --lon= and --lat= options instead of specifying an airport.

Here's what I used  to find it.

--lon=86.56.40
--lat=27.59.16
--altitude=30000

I dont know if the lon/lat format is correct or not, I just assumed that the numbers would be separated by periods. It worked.
