Oh that's easy to sort out.
1 . unzip apt.dat.gz
2. Add the airport data
3. rezip the apt.dat file
4. fire up TaxiDraw again and select the airport

The airport database file format is documented here :

However I'll make it easy for you.
Copy and paste the following. Make sure you retain all spaces since the format 
isn't flexible. (fixed field lengths and offsets)
Replace the backslash by deleting it and unwrapping the line.
(Single space between 111111 and 03)
