Yep is it possible to compile the airport without compiling the whole
terrain
tile and everything, ......
Yes as I understand it.... TerraGear will process DAT files separately to
terrain files and in each terrain folder a corresponding airport btg file
will be found. This will be referenced in the corresponding tile stg file,
eg;
OBJECT KOSH.btg
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/beacon.xml -88.555420 43.974800 241.9 0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.555280 43.985770 238.2
0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.557850 43.963840 247.1
0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.572110 43.992460 243.2
0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.548660 43.990650 236.0
0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.558730 43.986940 239.2
0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.548740 43.993000 235.5
0.00
OBJECT_SHARED Models/Airport/windsock_lit.xml -88.551070 43.985590 237.1
0.00
then its just a matter of copying that [ICAO].btg file into the correct
terrain folder and the stg file can be edited to remove any extraneous
beaconds winsocks etc.
......or will i just have to compile the whole lot? The other
part I was asking about is, is the current source material available so I
can
ensure the resulting tile is identical to what it presently is, except my
changes? Thanks,
.... a little unsure of your meaning but... in taxidraw, file-new-{enter
ICAO} loads what is currently in the apt.dat file you have Taxidraw pointed
too.
If you find any anomolies please let me know as I'm trying to get a dat file
compiled to btg for an airport at the moment...
Cheers
:-D ene
